On October 9th, the Windham Area Recreational Foundation, or WARF offered to help the Town of Windham care for the beloved “Windham Path”. Instead of accepting the offer of help and partnership, the town refused to work with WARF, instead demanding money and rebuffing their trail-building expertise. This is not how to build a cooperative local government. This is why we need more transparency in our local government.
Join me on October 26th from 1 pm to 3 pm for Windham 2050 and Beyond at the Old Main Care on RT23 across from Brooksburg Road to explore how Community Action can shape our community’s future. We must create an inclusive action community that values all members of the community.
